Calabria welcomes the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella expected in the morning in the province of Cosenza to visit some entrepreneurial realities that are symbols of a land that wants to redeem itself. A great sign of attention for the Calabria of “excellence” that the visit of the Head of State will promote beyond the regional borders, showing the other face of a land full of riches and resources.
The President’s Tour
Mattarella’s tour in Calabria will be divided into two stages spread over today’s morning. The President of the Republic will first of all be a Mongrassanowhich he will reach by helicopter, to visit the Gias company. Welcoming him were the authorities (prefect of Cosenza, president of the Region, president of the Province of Cosenza and mayor of Mongrassano) and Gloria Tenuta, president of Gias. Mattarella will join later Castrovillari to meet the top management of Assolac/Granarolothe leading cooperative in Calabria for the collection and marketing of cow’s milk: here too there will be a visit to the factory and therefore, inside the factory there will be the official ceremony for Labor and Workers’ Day, with the scheduled interventions of the president of Confindustria Cosenza Giovan Battista Perciaccante, who will open the proceedings, of the president of Granarolo Gianpiero Calzolari, of the company workers’ representative Gaetano Piraino, of the Minister of Labour Marina Calderone and finally the conclusions of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.
