Buonasanità Award in Messina on 12 May

The 2024 Buonasanità Awards award ceremony will be held on Sunday 12 May from 10.30 am at the Don Bosco Institute Theater in Messina, an event now in its 17th edition, conceived by Dr. Giovanni Caminiti and promoted by the La Fenice Study Center.

The “Buonasanità Award”, created in 2008, was established – explains the creator – “as a reaction to the spread of publicity of episodes of so-called medical malpractice”. And today “these prizes continue to be awarded also with the aim of making the people of Messina aware that many of the doctors in this province offer extremely high professionalism and great ability. The population can obtain excellent healthcare services without the need to undertake journeys of hope.”

“There are, in Messina healthcare, very high level professionalism found both in public and private structures as demonstrated in recent years by the awarding of prizes to representatives of private hospitals and freelancers. Furthermore, it is known, not only to professionals, that many Messina healthcare facilities have now become points of reference at a local level but also at a regional and national level”.

Also in the 2024 edition of the Award “special attention will be paid to healthcare connected to military structures and law enforcement”. But that is not all. For the first time, a “special mention” has been established for veterinary facilities, thanks to user reports. The submission of applications is public. Viewing the Facebook page “Buonasanità Award 2024” you will be able to see the applications already submitted up to this moment. Opened in October 2023, they include doctors and facilities from across the Messina Metropolitan Area.
