Good evening friends of OA Sport and welcome to the LIVE text of Italy-Japan, a match valid for the second day of Division I of the 2024 Ice Hockey World Cup. After the winning debut against Romania, the Azzurri are looking for a repeat in Bolzano.
It was a positive debut for coach Pelino’s Italy who began their climb towards promotion to the Top Division by beating Romania 6-1. They scored Salinitri with a double, Deadbolts for doubling, Frank, Marchetti And Kostner to close a match without too many fuss that the Azzurri managed to immediately channel onto favorable tracks at the Sparkasse Arena in Bolzano.
The Blue Team will now look for their second victory against Japan, who lost 3-1 to Hungary on their debut. In Group A of Division I, which also includes South Korea and Sloveniathere are two places up for promotion in Top Divisionithe elite of world hockey in which Italy will have the opportunity to fight for access until the end in front of their own fans.
