“Banking and business: new opportunities and new challenges” starts again on Thursday 2 May, iThe series of meetings that allows small companies in Trentino to delve deeper into the topic of access to credit and to refine strategies to improve dialogue with banking institutions. Two events will take place in different territorial areas, in the evening, during which entrepreneurs will be able to learn the most effective methods for successfully submitting a loan request and the basic dynamics that regulate banks’ decisions. The initiative, now in its second edition, has already met with good success, with the two dates in Trento sold-out. There is still availability for appointments in the other locations: in Predazzo, Borgo Valsugana, Cles, Riva del Garda and Rovereto. The path is promoted by the autonomous Province of Trento with Trentino Sviluppo, in collaboration with the provincial coordination of entrepreneurs, the trade associations and with the participation of the Bank of Italy and the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Trento and Rovereto.
In the first evening, some general aspects related to the topic of access to credit by businesses will be explored in depth. For example, we will talk about rating systems, banking constraints, economic planning and what has changed in the delicate relationship between banks and companies. In the second meeting, more vertical topics will be touched upon such as the bankability of a business project, the guarantees necessary to access credit, the creation of a business plan and a company budget, the choice of the right partners and the most appropriate forms of financing.
Small businesses, as underlined on several occasions by the Councilor for Economic Development, Work, University and Research of the Autonomous Province of Trento, are a pillar of the Trentino economy, but they are also those that are facing the greatest difficulties in accessing credit, with continually growing interest rates and increasingly stringent rules. This series of meetings therefore has the aim, through information and skills development, of providing them with useful tools for a more effective dialogue with credit institutions and to obtain the financing necessary for the development of their business.
After this first cycle, which will end in June, a second autumn session is planned, which will touch other territories. The path is promoted by the autonomous Province of Trento with Trentino Sviluppo, in collaboration with the Provincial Entrepreneurs Coordination, Confindustria Trento, Confcommercio, Confesercenti, Artisans Association, Cooperation Trentina, Asat, Ance and with the participation of the Bank of Italy and the Order of the Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Trento and Rovereto.
