It was held this morning the second provincial council after the elections of March 17th.
The session was legally constituted in the presence of the President of the Province, Rinaldo Melucci.
DDuring the meeting, among the ten items on the agenda, the management report for the 2023 financial year was approved after the presentation by Dr. Roberto Carucci, director of the provincial body.
The data from the 2023 management report are divided between current expenditure whose forecasts for 2024 amount to 81,123,000 euros, the contribution to the State which amounts to 45.75 percent in 2024, local public transport amounting to 19,729,000 in 2024 euros (in 2023 they were 19,013,000 euros), school construction which in 2024 is lower than in 2023 (last year it was equal to 8.88 percent compared to 2024 in which it was equal to 7.23 percent) , roads which went from 7.44 percent to 5.41 percent, personnel spending went from 5,344,000 euros in 2023 to 7,007,000 in 2024, scholastic assistance which went from a spending commitment equal to 2,725,000 in 2023 to 2,694,000 in 2024 and the Environment with 1,294,000 euros in 2024.
The session took place in mixed mode (videoconference and in person) in the Council Chamber.
