The State Police has reported a 43-year-old Hungarian woman, resident in Austria, in a state of freedom for abandoning animals, who on the morning of April 24th, had been reported missing, having left a luxury hotel in Como in who had rented a room, never returning, leaving his dog alone in the room.
The report had reached 112 NUE from the hotel administration and the police officers and the Flying Squad had started the investigation to track down the woman and ensure her safety. Once at the hotel they rescued the little dog found hungry and scared, at the same time involving an association of volunteers who would then take care of the animal.
On the journey to the police station, however, the police officers noticed and recognized the 43-year-old who, disoriented and in a state of confusion, was wandering on the street.
Once at the police station, the story was reconstructed with the woman having left on April 23rd, wandering alone through the city and the surrounding woods without giving further explanations. She was finally reported in a state of freedom for abandoning animals while the dog, after being refreshed, was entrusted to the voluntary association.
