“After the debut made on a stretch of the Southern Via Francigena from Velletri (Via dei Crocefissi) to Lake Giulianello, the No Bretella walks continue. This time the route is circular and will take us to visit the countryside of Velletri, those areas that will be directly or indirectly affected and sometimes cancelled, by the Bretella Cisterna-Valmontone highway. Among olive groves and vineyards, we will experience first-hand what will no longer be there in a few years. Thousands of jobs have been lost forever, dozens of excellent and often organic farms, culture, history, traditions and landscape (defended by art. 9 of our Constitution) thrown away like an old and useless rag. But the link road is useless and harmful, not our territories. Appointment for everyone at the Agriturismo “La Capanna”, Sunday 5 May at 10.00 am. The walk will end at approximately 12.00.
