FALCONARA MARITTIMA – He was standing near some houses, and once subjected to checks he had no identification documents and was unable to give explanations regarding his presence in the area. The Carabinieri of Falconara Marittima had stopped him near the hamlet of Castelferretti because they were suspicious of his behaviour, but after carrying out the search they found on him a dog shotgun without a red cap, with blank cartridges, and a balaclava, all hidden in his jacket that he was wearing and without providing clarification on the use of the objects in his possession. The military thus reported an eighteen-year-old, resident in a neighboring municipality, from whom a dose of hashish was also seized, which the young man declared he had for personal use.
In a second separate operation, also completed last week, the Carabinieri in the same locality stopped a 36-year-old resident in the province of Macerata, who, after the check and subsequent search, was found in possession of a brass knuckles, subjected to criminal seizure. Both were charged for illegally carrying objects capable of offending in a public place: the application of a personal prevention measure against them was also proposed to the Police Headquarters of Ancona.
