From 8pm *30 April to 2 May* the semi-carriageway between Viale Aventino and Piazza Bocca della Verità will be closed;
From 7am *1st May to 2nd May* via del Circo Massimo, piazzale Ugo la Malfa, via della Greca, via dell’Ara Massima di Ercole, via delle Terme Deciane, Lungotevere Aventino (section piazza dell’Emporio – via S. Maria in Cosmedin), via S. maria in Cosmedin between viale Aventino and via della Greca.
From 6pm on *1 May* possible closures in via di San Gregorio, viale Aventino, piazza Bocca della Verità, via Petroselli.
*Metro*: last trips from the terminus on May 1st *at 1.30 am*. From 9pm *Circo Massimo/Metro B stop closed*.

Due to the renovation works affecting Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano in view of the 2025 Jubilee, the 2024 edition is held at the Circus Maximus which, with its evocative historical setting, will provide a spectacular stage to celebrate work and workers’ rights by putting social issues and current music at the centre.
The May Day 2024 Concert in Rome will be presented by an unprecedented couple, made up of Naomi and Ermal Meta.

The concert will be broadcast live on Rai 3, Rai Radio 2 and Rai Play and will start at 3.00 pm until 7.00 pm, and will continue, after a short break from 8.00 pm, until approximately 00.15 am.
Big Mama she will be the host of the first part of the event, from 1.15 pm.

The artists who will perform during the opening are: Albe, Cioffi, Diego Lazzari and Nashley, Etta, Gaudiano and Irbis, as well as the three finalists of the 1MNext contest dedicated to emerging artists, namely Atarde, Giglio, Moonari. The winner of the contest will be chosen during the event.
May 1st, public transport
Enhanced holiday timetable to allow spectators of the Concertone del Circo Massimo to travel to the event using the public transport network.
METRO NETWORK
Renewal works on the platforms on the metro and on the entire metro network – A, B/B1 and C – have been suspended and the last trips from the terminus are at 1.30 am
BUS NETWORK
Normal Sunday timetable with possible route changes in the Circus Maximus area
