Bills in progress: work being drafted by the regional deputy

The regional deputy is currently working on the drafting of several bills aimed at promoting environmental efficiency, the protection of protected areas and biodiversity, as well as sustainable development in the hydrogeological and health sectors.

1. Bill on environmental efficiency and waste management

The focus of this bill is the promotion of sustainable waste management and environmental efficiency. The proposed provisions include specific objectives to increase separate collection rates, reduce non-recyclable waste and combat illegal littering. Incentives are also provided for citizens and businesses that adopt recycling and composting practices.

2. Bill for the protection of protected areas and biodiversity

This design aims to preserve and enhance protected areas and biodiversity through environmental conservation and redevelopment strategies. The establishment of a dedicated fund is proposed to support the management and maintenance of protected areas, including fire prevention actions and monitoring of flora and fauna.

3. Draft law on the environmental value of territories

The objective of this plan is to promote sustainable development and landscape protection through incentives for environmental interventions, the protection of cultural and natural heritage, and the reduction of pollution. The introduction of measures to promote energy efficiency, the use of renewable energy and the reduction of air, water and soil pollution is expected.

4. Bill for the strengthening of reclamation consortia

This plan aims to strengthen the capabilities of reclamation consortia for the management of water resources and the prevention of hydrogeological risk. An increase in the financial resources and technical skills of the consortia is expected, in collaboration with local authorities and regional institutions. The regional deputy is working on a review of land reclamation consortia to improve the efficiency of services offered to farmers. This includes reviewing the pricing system to ensure a more direct correlation between the fees paid by farmers and the services actually received. The aim is to optimize resource allocation and improve transparency in the management of consortia, ensuring that farmers pay based on the specific land reclamation and irrigation services that directly benefit their agricultural activities.

This review aims to promote more efficient management of water resources and better meet the needs of farmers in the region.

5. Bill on access to health services

This plan aims to guarantee universal access to basic health services and to improve the quality and efficiency of regional health services. Policies are expected to be implemented to reduce waiting times and promote technological innovation in the sector.

6. Bill for the promotion of the circular economy in special non-hazardous waste

This bill aims to simplify waste management procedures and promote the recycling and reuse of resources. Financial incentives for sustainable practices, clear rules for monitoring and compliance, and greater collaboration between the public and private sectors are expected.
