Petracca and Gengaro meet the national leadership of the PD

A meeting took place this afternoon in Rome, at the Senate of the Republic, which was attended by the regional councilor Maurizio Petracca, the candidate for mayor of Campo Largo di Avellino, Antonio Gengaro and the representatives of the national leadership of the Democratic Party. In particular, Senator Francesco Boccia and Deputy Piero De Luca were present. The discussion, which took place in a climate of serenity and in a constructive manner, was useful to reiterate the strategic importance of the electoral appointment in Avellino, the only capital of Campania called to vote, to point out some programmatic points that emerged from the important work of elaboration and writing carried out in over a year by all the forces that gave life to the group that today supports the candidacy of Antonio Gengaro as mayor of Avellino.

We then moved on to define some organizational aspects of the electoral campaign. “By now – declared the regional councilor at the end of the meeting Petracca – we enter the heart of the electoral phase which will lead us first to the presentation of the lists and then to the actual electoral campaign. Today’s meeting in Rome, during which there was also an in-depth discussion dedicated to the important appointment with the European Championships, was useful in closing ranks around the Nexus deployment standing in Avellino and which enjoys the support of the levels national, regional and provincial of the Democratic Party. We are committed, together with the other political forces and the expressions of civil society that animate the broad field, to affirm a vision of the city that is finally worthy of the political, social and cultural history of Avellino”.
