Green light from the City Council to the resolution of the 2023 management report of the Municipality of Florence.
In detail, the current expenses of 2023 were supported for 689,436,418 million. On the chapter investments however, the capital expenditure committed was 147,931,783 million euros, 26,155,098 million higher than the previous year. L’indebtedness of the institution, even in the face of an increase in investments recorded in recent years, stood at 476,319,585 milliondown compared to the previous year and five times lower than the legal limit.
At the same time, compliance with the average payment times is confirmed, with the related annual indicator which also for 2023 closes with a value of -10.83 days compared to the legal deadline which means that the Municipality pays all suppliers in advance of the deadlines of almost 11 days. In the financial statements there is also an increase compared to the previous year in expenses for cultural activities, for welfare, for children and nurseries and for the valorisation of tourism.
