During the meeting, some of the most significant activities conducted by the Institute will also be exposed, in cooperation with local authorities for the implementation of settlement redevelopment projects, starting from the most significant archaeological findings in the Crotone area.

Sabap started the project to create the georeferenced archaeological map of the ancient Achaean city, sharing its scientific direction with the Southern High School of Naples, and thanks to the funds of the Antica Kroton program made available by the municipality of Crotone. In the round table, space will then be given to the story of the training courses, launched with educational institutions in the two provinces, to encourage the new generations to take an active part in the protection of their history and the material and intangible assets that compose it, in which Sabap is it is placed as a glue for a renewed awareness and re-appropriation of identity of the territory.

The Art and Restoration Exhibition represents one of the most important showcases in the world of restoration, a further opportunity to disseminate the richness of the Calabrian territory and the protection, conservation and valorization activities conducted by the Superintendence”.
