The memorandum of understanding between the Municipality of Agrigento and the Agrigento committee of the Dante Alighieri Society, chaired by Enza Ierna. According to the protocol, in fact, “the Municipality of Agrigento and the Dante Alighieri Society – we read – intend to carry forward and strengthen activities compatible with their own institutional ones. In particular, carry out cultural and social projects aimed at the population of the Agrigento area, especially students, identifying issues of particular interest to young people, so as to involve them and make them protagonists. All this, also in the direction of an increase in tourism for new socio-economic prospects of the territory”. An interesting conference involving students from the Rita Levi Montalcini and Niccolò Gallo schools, the Leonardo and Politi scientific high schools and the Empedocle classical and musical high schools, during which, after greetings from Mayor Miccichè, Enza Ierna and Giovanna Pisano , school director, illustrious people spoke: Gaetano Aronica, actor and director, with his “Message to students, travellers, dreamers”; Enzo Alessi, writer and director, with “The journey into Dante and Marco Polo”; Domenica Brancato, director of Mudia, with the “Journey through Art: the family”.
