Rho – The Municipality of Rho has issued the public notice for the assignment of contributions for cultural activities – year 2024making available a total amount of 20,000 euros.
Cultural contributions
The Regulation for the granting of economic contributions and benefits, approved by the City Council on 25 May 2020, assigns the City Council the task of annually defining the specific criteria and parameters on the basis of which economic contributions for cultural activities will be assigned. With resolution of the Council of 19 March 2024 n. 44 criteria for the year 2024 were approved.
Citizens and associations they will be able to submit an application for financial contributions for cultural events, workshops, entertainment, concerts and shows to be built in 2024 in the Municipality of Rho, which have not already received contributions, economic benefits and support from the Municipality.
They can apply the free forms of association registered in the municipal register, as well as recognized non-profit associations, organisations, bodies and groups, with registered or operational headquarters in Rho. The non-profit nature must be evident from the Articles of Association, the Articles of Association or official documentation attached to the application.
Each participating subject may send only one request. Initiatives that have already obtained other contributions or payments from the Municipal Administration and initiatives aimed mainly at a specific target (e.g. schools, professional categories) will not be admitted. The requests must refer exclusively to initiatives carried out or to be carried out in 2024, intended for Rhodes residents.
The contribution it is paid on a non-repayable basis from the municipal budget. The amount will cover up to one maximum of 75% of the total expenses incurred; the maximum amount for each project will be 3,000 euros. The overall total of direct contributions payable is 20,000 euros. The municipal council will have the possibility of integrating the aforementioned budget through appropriate subsequent administrative acts.
The allocation of resources takes place based on a ranking that will be drawn up according to the following evaluation parameters: based on the applications received, a ranking will be drawn up. Each project will be evaluated in its various organizational and cultural aspects, also on the basis of the number of expected spectators. The involvement of children or young people under 26, as actors or as an audience, will have an impact. We will evaluate how the project can promote the historical heritage of the city, a widespread culture of equal opportunities, a network of collaborations. The communication channels used to promote the events will also be evaluated. The maximum score is 30 points. Depending on the score, one thousand, two thousand or three thousand euros can be obtained.
How to ask for a contribution
The request must reach the Municipality of Rho no later than 8.30 am on 21 May 2024. It can be sent exclusively through the online services portal of the Municipality of Rho to this address.
Requests sent via email will not be accepted. Applications can be submitted, after authentication on the platform, through: SPID – Public Digital Identity System; or – CNS – National Service Card/CRS – Regional Service Card and PIN (to request the PIN code: Click here) or CIE Electronic identity cards. The ranking will be published on the Municipality website.
