A game with two faces, the regional semi-final, played on Sunday morning at the PalaSer in Santena Lab Travel Cuneo Under 19 against his peers Acqui Terme.
In the first two sets the Cuneo players clearly dominated the game, without any hesitation, then in the third their concentration dropped and their certainties failed in some important moments. Despite the numbers showing a better performance on all fronts by the blue and white team, the dream of defending the title won last year vanished at 12-15 in the tie-break in favor of the Acqui team.
A great disappointment both for the much work done in the gym this year and for the end of a youth journey for most of the team which would have deserved a different ending.
However, the boys and staff were able to channel all their emotions in the best possible way, winning the 3rd-4th place final played in the afternoon against Biella at the PalaMaddalene in Chieri.
The awards ceremony was held at the PalaSer in Santena at the end of the two Finals (male and female) which awarded the U19 male Regional Title to Volley Parella Torino and the U18 female Regional Title to Club76 Chieri.
The blue and whites received the bronze medal, the cup and the t-shirts from Fipav Piemonte.
