Juvecaserta 2021 triumphs at home, while PIELLE Matera ranks fourth
The second edition of the mini-basketball tournament organized by Juvecaserta ended with the victory of the hosts. Moments of growth and fun for the young athletes of PIELLE Matera.
The second edition of the minibasketball tournament ended yesterday at the PalaPiccolo in Caserta, an event which saw the participation of Juvecaserta 2021 and PIELLE Matera, as well as other local teams. After three days of intense competition and moments of leisure, such as excursions to Casertavecchia and the Royal Palace park, the event ended with the finals on Sunday.
The home team, Juvecaserta 2021, achieved victory by beating “Città di Caserta” while PIELLE Matera finished the tournament in fourth place, after losing the match against S. Agnese Basket. Despite the result, the event was an important opportunity for growth for the young athletes, as underlined by Ilaria Martinelli, instructor and manager of the Minibasket sector of PIELLE Matera. Martinelli emphasized the importance of the experience for the children, who were able to enjoy play and conviviality in a festive and inclusive context.
The tournament was not just a competition, but also a moment of sharing and learning team dynamics, respect for the rules and management of emotions. The event ended with a collective celebration on the pitch, symbol of the joy of being together and the success of an event that went beyond the simple sporting sphere.
