Entertainment on Venetian soil in the first round of the Italian Club Cup for the girls of SC Cesano Maderno

For the first year debuting women, 81 starters including the Cesanese women Nicole Bracco, Ingrid Corno, Martina Pianta and Vittoria Vitillo, who unfortunately was forced to retire due to being involved in a fall mid-race. The group remains mostly compact despite some timid attempts to get ahead, with the three Cesanese athletes at the head of the peloton managing the race.
The arrival therefore presents itself in a sprint with the Cesanese Nicole Bracco launching the sprint while she is flanked by her teammate Martina Pianta, the head-to-head between the two Cesanese takes them on parade up to the finish line where the Piedmontese is in the photo finish Bracco to seal the fifth success of the season. Behind them, the fierce teammate Ingrid Corno finishes with the leading group, also in the points for the Italian Club Cup ranking.
The challenge of the second year rookies
Busiest race for second year debuting women, 70 of the class of 2010 are at the starting line with the Cesanese girls in the front row Giulia Lombardi and Irene Pancheri. The Torrazzo standard bearers are at the head of the race and manage the race wisely. Despite the gaps, the platoon also in this case presents itself in compact ranks on the long finishing straight to launch the sprint. Giulia Lombardi from Cesa doesn’t find the inspiration to adequately complete the sprint and thus comes close to making the top ten of the day, finishing in 11th place followed by her teammate Irene Pancheri.

The Students
Definitely a change of pace for the women students who will first have to face the circuit of the smaller colleagues and then move a few kilometers to compare themselves on the ascent of the Gorghesana before tackling the long 5 km of technical descent and slight slope up to the final finish line: 131 starting among the female students including the Cesanese Giulia Beretta, Vivienne Cassata, Emma Colombo, Giulia Costa-Staricco, Letizia Parini and Paola Zucca.
The race gets to the heart of things right from the start with various attacks and sprints to anticipate the arrival at the foot of the arduous climb, as the Cesanese are very active, attempting to escape several times with Giulia Costa-Staricco while the others militate at the head of the platoon. Three athletes finally manage to go out and grind out important seconds on the group so much so that they show up with over a minute to go before the climb, where Linda Rapporti (Breganze Millenium) forces the pace and goes solo in the ride towards the finish line.
Behind him the group breaks up into more and more groups in pursuit and upon arrival Vivienne Cassata and Emma Colombo will finish in the points at the finish line.
