Alongside the consolidated mission of promoting culture, the environment, and love for greenery, there are book presentations, exhibitions and workshops aimed above all at young people in the name of sustainability.
The association promoting Ortinterrace since its inception it has reflected on the power of nature by observing the world around and rethinking a new way of education regarding the environment, nature, food and lifestyles, thus encouraging natural productions of quality craftsmanship that respects environment. To better spread the culture of good living which also means choosing products in food that respect nature.
On May 4th and 5th the artisans will be present with their accessories made with natural products such as fabrics, wood, ceramic, wicker, leather, cosmetics, oils and natural liqueurs with myrtle and lavender, derived from beekeeping, recycling, plants and together with sustainable jewelery handmade with recycled materials (paper, fabric, crystals, rubber and resin).
There is also room for vintage present with numerous exhibitors, which attracts young audiences interested in sustainability, a laboratory REPAIR PARTY AND BAG ART to help creativity. The set designer Beatrice Ficalbi accompanies the children on the cloister lawn to fantasize with the stories they created with her Kamishibai.
During the entire duration of the event there will be a refreshment point, from coffee and dessert in the morning, to lunch, snacks and aperitifs. Another news: during the event guided tours of the church are organised, little known but of great religious and cultural interest.
In short, a program that already lives up to the interest and participation that Ortinterrazza has been able to create.
