Training against Cuneo
Legnano – Il sitting wantedy Sunday 28 April experienced another important day in Legnano. There Vomien SS Martiri company of Legnano is carrying forward this project with great enthusiasm, trying to spread the discipline throughout the territory, with the aim of achieving important goals in the coming years.
The Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo Volley team, which will participate in the seventh edition of the Italian Serie A championship, trained on Sunday 28 April at the gym of the Rodari primary schools together with the young team of Vomien SS Martiri, which is making its first moves step into this beautiful world of sitting volleyball.
“An intense day where in the morning the two teams faced each other, playing 5 sets, all won by the Cuneo team, while in the afternoon Cuneo coach Flavio Frattani held a lesson dedicated to technique. The presence of Paolo Gamba, player of Sitting Volley Brembate Sopra and former captain of the Italian national team, gave prestige to this already eventful day. Paolo Gamba complimented our club and declared to our captain Giorgio Zanaldi “I must congratulate you for the good work you are doing in terms of promotion and for the progress that your athletes have made over the last few months” , this statement from the former national team captain will give us the energy to do even better. The objectives that are set do not only respond to outcomes exclusively linked to sporting competition but in particular presuppose the pursuit of the inclusive goals underlying the discipline. The invitation is to all those who, and I presume there are many, are supporters of involvement in sport and in general in everyone’s daily life. I remember that anyone interested in practicing this sport, the Vomien team trains on Saturday mornings from 9.30 to 11.00 at the gym of the Rodari primary schools in Legnano and on Thursday evenings from 9.30 to 11.00 at the gym of the Pascoli elementary schools in Legnano”, this is how they comment on the day of sitting volleyball in Legnano.
