Fear, blood and beatings. Violent evening, Tuesday, in a bar in the area between via Curio Dentato and via della Bardesca, a stone’s throw from the center of Terni. A young woman of Italian nationality, apparently in a state of alteration and already known by the restaurant staff, came in looking for beers and from then on there was a crescendo of tension, up to the attack on an employee, a 23-year-old from Terni. , who underwent treatment in the emergency room and filed a complaint with the police about what happened. According to what was written down in black and white, the woman entered the bar shortly before 9pm asking to go to the bathroom. When she returned, she took two beers and put them on the counter to buy them but the price – 6 euros in total – seemed too high for her pocket. So she – again according to reports – she did to put one away but, at the same time, she hid others in the bag. The barmaid on duty, who was cleaning in preparation for closing, discovered it and reported everything to the owner, calling him on the phone. According to what was reported, the woman – perhaps convinced that the call was directed to the police – reacted by slamming a beer bottle on the counter, breaking it and also injuring her hand. At that point the police were notified and a fight broke out with the employee who, remaining behind the counter, was seen jumping on her and hitting her several times. She defended herself and to separate them a passerby had to intervene who, from the outside, understood that something serious was happening. Then the woman fled, not before – again according to reports – having heavily threatened the girl at the bar. The latter, in shock, reported everything to the Carabinieri who intervened on the spot who, within a short time, would have identified the protagonist of the brawl: it will be up to the Carabinieri to report on her to the judicial authority, regarding the facts – there are witnesses and images from the cameras – and any crimes that could be accused of her, among which – we learn – the hypothesis of robbery would be excluded for the moment. The 23-year-old bartender, however, had to seek treatment from the medical staff of the ‘Santa Maria’ for the bruises and scratches she suffered, although perhaps what weighs more than anything are the fear, the shock and those threats that are difficult, impossible not to think about. .
