Viterbo – We receive and publish – After a long journey of struggle and social awareness, in 1977 differentiated classes were abolished and the figure of the support teacher was introduced. Now General Vannacci (who as a soldier has sworn loyalty to the state and should defend its constitutional principles and laws) proposes to reintroduce them, thinking, with a single electoral declaration, to erase over 50 years of history.
The problem is not just Vannacci, who, like many political meteors, will disappear as quickly as he appeared. The problem is that segment of the population that perhaps does not have the courage to declare what that gentleman claims and hides behind false respectability and false social sensitivity, but who thinks the same way.
Those people should learn from the daily work of teachers, assistants, educators, volunteers, parents and family members who, with commitment and spirit of service, are the concrete demonstration that “different” people can give much, much more than what they receive, and that we often learn much more from their simple logic and naturalness, than from the labyrinthine superstructures that “normal” people have built around themselves over the centuries.
Quoting the beautiful film “Marylin has black eyes”: “They think they are right just because there are more of them… normal ones”.
