Proud reaction from Dinamo who clearly won in Scafati 99-74 after having been in the lead from the first to the fortieth minute. Jefferson opens the break which puts the Campania team in great difficulty, Sassari shoots with very high percentages (18/31 from 3 points) and finds resources from the best Kruslin of the season and from the incursions of Tyree and Diop. Henry and Robinson try to shake up Boniciolli’s team who never manage to worry the Banco who close the score already at the end of the third quarter (52-75).
Dinamo approached the match well thanks to their defensive aggressiveness and ability to attack the rim. Kruslin and Gombauld are on the ball, Jefferson with the first triple signs the initial 10-0. Scafati has talent and players capable of changing the matchup, Robinson pushes, Gamble wants to make the difference inside the area, while Sek Henry is a high-level guard. Markovic starts the rotations, Diop enters well but it is Jefferson who digs the furrow between the two quarters. The elf from Flower Mound is the creator of the 6-0 break that exalts Dinamo (19-29).
The Bank plays carefully, Scafati scores only five points in seven minutes, Tyree, Diop and Jefferson again open the gap, Cappelletti concludes for the maximum advantage (24-42). Boniciolli also tries with the zone and presses all over the court, Robinson’s free throws and a triple from Henry at the siren keep the Campania team in the game at halftime (35-49) with Sassari shooting very well from three points and reducing the number of balls to a minimum lost despite foul troubles from Kruslin and McKinnie.
In the third quarter Scafati plays his cards to get back into the match, Boniciolli changes lineups, Henry takes a hit and goes out, Gentile tries to create problems in the low post but Kruslin is deadly with heavy shots. The Croatian pushes Givova back, Rossato tries but two bombs from Tyree and a counterattack from Diop are still worth +18 (47-65). All the tests were solved but Sassari circulated the ball, found extra passes and shots with his feet on the ground, the 15/25 from 3 points was a red circle, the gap widened to 52-75 in the 30th minute. The last ten minutes were uneventful with Dinamo managing the lead and having no problems reaching the end with a clear 99-74 victory.
