A road accident dramatically marked the fate of two young people, leading to the death of one of them and leaving the other seriously injured.
The tragic event involved an Alfa 147, the car in which both young people were travelling. In circumstances yet to be clarified, the vehicle suddenly lost control, skidding violently before impacting a nearby wall. The emergency services were immediately alerted, with the timely intervention of the police and firefighters. At the scene of the accident, the anguish and frenzy of the operators materialized as they tried to stabilize the situation and provide assistance to the two young people involved.
Unfortunately, despite the efforts made, for one of the young people, a 25-year-old originally from San Marco in Lamis, all help was in vain. His life was tragically cut short by the accident, leaving an entire community in shock and grief. Meanwhile, the other young man, seriously injured, was promptly transported to hospital, where he will receive the necessary care in an attempt to save his life.
The victim is called Nicola Soccio, 25 years old, father of a little girl.
