Freedom for the South: defending the territory and traditions against the rules imposed by Europe

In the evocative setting of the Poseidon Port of Le Castella (Isola Capo Rizzuto), a convivial meeting was held on Friday 26 April between the Honorable Laura Castelli, president of SudcallsNorth-Freedom, and the citizens, in the presence of the Regional Commissioner Massimo Cristiano , of the Provincial Commissioner Maria Pangallo, of the deputy Elena Lobeato and of the President of the Isola Club Francesco Rocca.
During the meeting, various topics were addressed, including the difficulties of local fishermen and farmers, who feel suffocated by the rules imposed by Europe.
The President argued with determination that the Freedom list will bring to the European elections in June a message of rupture with a Europe distant from territorial problems and defense of the autonomy and freedom of the South, promoting the protection of food, beaches and culture of the region.
A clear appeal emerged to defend the territory and its traditions, countering European policies that do not take into account the needs of local communities.
