Once again Ragusa played a good match but, however, took leave of the Serie D championship with a defeat, undeserved to be honest, on the pitch of Città di Sant’Agata. Due to the only mistake made, the Azzurri were given a penalty which, in the 77th minute, when there was little time to recover, Mincica put in. Setback and play-off dream vanished for the eleven coached by Giovanni Ignoffo who, however, has little to complain about because his boys, once again, threw their hearts over the obstacle, giving further proof of having grown from race to race. There will be time to draw conclusions, but in the meantime Ragusa managed to achieve the objectives set with a handful of young people who provided a big hand to the seniors and who all proved to be up to the task, thanks also to the skilful direction of the technical staff. In short, today’s 1-0 does not jeopardize the good work done which will serve, if the conditions are right, to lay the foundations for next season, the third that Ragusa would play in Serie D.
