Season finale with a bang for Lfa Reggio Calabria. Against Sancataldese comes yet another victory in the second round for Trocini’s team, with Barillà deciding at the start and Provazza in the final minutes.
Mister Trocini confirms the usual 4-3-3, only bench for Renelus and Bolzicco with the amaranth trident formed by Provazza, Rosseti and Perri. In the middle of the field the experience of captain Barillà, Mungo and Porcino, Girasole and Kremenovic the pair of central defenders.
At the first attack the Amaranths immediately found the advantage. Cross from Martiner from the right, Rosseti anticipated, the ball reaches captain Barillà who passes La Cagnina with a right foot.
The match immediately goes downhill for Lfa Reggio Calabria, the first half flies by with little emotion and guests who do not go beyond a couple of conclusions which do not worry Martinez. Amaranth who manage the game but are unable to sting, Rosseti moves across the entire offensive front but receives few playable balls.
In the second half the script is similar. Lfa in control but emotions are lacking. Risk in the Amaranth area in the 70th minute, Girasole’s recovery on Varela ready to strike from a few meters was providential.
The danger they faced made the Amaranth team understand that it was advisable to put the matter in a safe place, in the 80th minute Provazza closed the score. Barillà once again has a hand in it, assisting from the left for the young amaranth striker who leaves the opposing goalkeeper with no chance with his right foot.
The 2-0 reassured Mister Trocini’s team, in the final there was ample space for Bolzicco and especially Renelus, amaranth who however were unable to find the hat trick. It ends like this, fifth consecutive victory for an Lfa team that is preparing to close the regular season in the best possible way and puts into its engine the right fuel of motivation and self-esteem to face the play-offs in the best possible way.
