The police officers of the Catania Police Headquarters intervened in Viale Kennedy, at a well-known hotel on the coast, following the report of a dispute.

The receptionist told the police that shortly before he had had a verbal argument with a customer, a 26-year-old Danish guest of the hotel for a few days, who, when asked to pay the bill, had declared that he had been in Sicily for around 45 days and of no longer having economic availability.

The investigations carried out by the agents made it possible to ascertain that the young man, in recent days, had already stayed in other accommodation facilities, both in Trapani and Palermo, not paying the hotel bills and for this reason he had been reported.

On the basis of what was ascertained, after the formalization of the complaint by the legal representative of the hotel structure, the Danish citizen was referred to the Judicial Authority in a state of freedom for the crime of fraudulent insolvency.
