L’AQUILA – “I invite our fellow citizens to go to the vote, because it is a question of expressing themselves for the future of our territory”: this is the appeal of Domenico Petroccowhich together with Federico Ricci And Massimiliano Pieri makes up list number 1 in the elections for the renewal of the Committee for the Separate Administration of Civic Uses – Asbuc – of the L’Aquila hamlets of Paganica and San Gregorio, with voting reserved for residents of the two L’Aquila hamlets on Sunday 28 April from 9am to 8pm , at the Paganica primary school polling station, with the need to show only the identity card.

“Our program – continues Petrocco – is clear and looks beyond the ordinary which is certainly also important. There is a need to give a strong signal, to project this territory towards the future, to avoid depopulation through work and planning”.

Among the points of the program in list 1, “Trigger inter-institutional synergies for the realization of large-scale projects that require adequate planning, such as for example medium mountain paths, ‘river’ pedestrian paths, the agricultural park, the selective culling of wildlife, reservoirs to be used for irrigation purposes and for civil protection needs, the rational increase of watering points in the high mountains, increase in perceived safety both in inhabited centers and in sensitive places – for example the car parks adjacent to cemeteries – through the creation of a technologically advanced video surveillance system”.

Furthermore, it is necessary to “support the recovery of the territory by finding the necessary resources to allow, while respecting the environmental contexts, the creation of new businesses and the consolidation of existing ones, in particular in the agro-forestry-pastoral sector as well as in the agritourism sector. ”. “I hope it will be a participatory election – concludes Petrocco –. Democracy allows us to express ourselves, these are opportunities that should not be wasted.”
