PESCARA – “The Fratelli d’Italia programmatic conference ‘Italy changes Europe’ which has been underway since yesterday in Pescara and will end on Sunday 28 April is an opportunity to underline the government action at Palazzo Chigi but above all for the launch of Fratelli d’Italia in the electoral campaign for the European elections on 8 and 9 June. With this electoral challenge we will all be called, candidates and not, to give our best, to demonstrate the vitality and strength of the Brothers of Italy and give a further boost to the national government and to our prime minister and leader Giorgia Meloni. In particular, in this European electoral campaign we must commit ourselves to winning the confrontation against the Italian and European socialist area and shelving the EU of technocrats to build the Europe of the people”.
The MEP from Fratelli d’Italia-Ecr claims this in a note, Chiara Gemma. “We need to open a new historical phase of the European Union that puts the Franco-German axis in the corner and sees our leader Meloni as the protagonist of a new alliance between the popular area and the right. For FdI, these European elections will also have to confirm the political and programmatic quality of the Meloni government from October 2022 to today. A crucial point not for our party but for strengthening Italy’s role at an international level”.
“Having organized the conference in Pescara and Abruzzo – highlights Gemma – is a very important signal for us southern political leaders and to demonstrate how high the attention of the Brothers of Italy is towards the South. Abruzzo is a symbolic region of the Brothers of Italy and is an example of good government of the centre-right confirmed by voters a month ago with the great success of Marcus Marsilio“.
