RECANATI – At the headquarters of the National Center for Leopardi Studies, Arianna Bitocchi and Benedetta Orlandoni, students of the classical curriculum of the “Leopardi” high school (class VA) met with the writer and former university professor of Literature at the Sapienza University of Rome, Novella Bellucci, on the latest book she wrote “A life with Leopardi. Or rather the why of things.”

It was a very touching moment in which the students focused on the aspects of the book that most stimulated their sensitivity, also in relation to their young age, such as the relationship between teacher and student and man’s attitude towards .

The meeting was attended primarily by the president of the CNSL, Fabio Corvatta, the DS of the Leopardi high school Annamaria Marcantonelli and the mayor of Recanati, who intervened to offer institutional greetings.

Following this was Giuseppina Montironi, literature professor and moderator of the meeting, who introduced Novella Bellucci and Antonio Moresco, writer and long-time friend of the author, and the two students from the Giacomo Leopardi classical high school in Recanati.

The conference took place in the form of a dialogue between the participants and the author.

After the greetings and introductions, the floor was taken by Moresco, who intervened by reflecting on the relationship between man and literature and asking questions to the protagonist of the meeting. of pain, themes that are also very dear to the author and which find ample space in the book.
