Unpli Sassari renews the provincial committee: Sebastiano Sechi di Ossi reconfirmed president
The vice-presidency of the UNPLI provincial committee went to Pietro Fois of Villanova Monteleone. About thirty-five prolocos participated in the assembly
SASSARI. On 26 April, in the premises of the Pegasus Hotel il Vialetto di Sassari, the elective assembly of the Pro Loco of the Unpli Sassari Aps provincial committee was held. At the opening of the proceedings, the figure of was remembered Eleuterio Longu of Ozieri, president of the Provincial Committee of Sassari and regional manager for over thirty years, who passed away prematurely in October last year. The assembly gave him a long and moving round of applause.
The presidency of the assembly was then assumed by Sebastiano Sechi of Ossi, former vice president of Unpli Sardinia and member of the executive council of Unpli Nazionale, called to chair the provincial committee after the death of Longu.
For the four-year period 2024-2028, he was reconfirmed as president Sebastiano Sechiwhile the vice president is Pietro Fois of Villanova Monteleone.
The councilors of the new provincial committee are Mariano Demartis of Mores, Luigi Deriu of Bonorva, Sebastiano Lai of Thiesi, Paolo Mannoni of Torralba, Antonella Masia of Usini, Maddalena Mulas of Ploaghe, Luciana Sassu of Banari e Alfredo Unali of Cossoine. There are arbitrators in the Board of Arbitrators Francesco Calvisi of Muros, Maria Giuseppa Sechi by Bultei e Francesca Sini of Ozieri.
The electoral appointment, in which the directors of around thirty-five pro locos participated, was also an opportunity to discuss important issues such as membership of the Third Sector, the drafting of budgets for the RAS, the widespread diffusion of the “Sagra di Qualità” brand ”.
We also spoke about the myriad of events organized by the local tourist associations and their economic impact, and about the desire to extend the collaboration between the associations until reaching a possible joint initiative. The assembly ended with the ritual photo and the usual exchange of greetings between those elected and all those present.
