At dawn this morning, the fugitive of Gennaro Musto, a 33-year-old from Scampia with a criminal record, ended.

Last March 20, Musto managed to escape a precautionary measure order issued by the Naples Prosecutor’s Office for the crime of drug dealing, linked to an episode that occurred on February 22 in the Oasi del Buon Pastore, in the Scampia district.

On that occasion, the Carabinieri of the Napoli Stella Operations Unit arrested two people, but Musto managed to escape.

The search for the fugitive by the police never stopped and, on March 26, Musto was officially declared a fugitive.

Investigators knew that he was traveling in two cars: a Fiat Panda and a Lancia Ypsilon. This morning, the police located one of the two cars parked in front of a house in Marano di Napoli, in via Castelbelvedere 167.

He was together with his wife in an apartment in Marano

They then broke into the apartment, where Musto, together with his wife, was woken up and arrested.

Now the 33-year-old is in prison and at the disposal of the judicial authorities
