The flavors of Umbria enchant Campania

NewTuscia – POMIGLIANO D’ARCO – “Autori del Sapore” is a food and wine event that took place in Pomigliano d’Arco on Monday 22 February 2024 organized by the “Gusto Territoriale” association founded by the chef Antimo Migliaccio, Nicola d’Alessio food blogger and marketing consultant with “Viaggia, Friggi, Ama” and the chef and food blogger Alfredo Condursi known on social media as “Faccia di Cacio”.

The aim of the association is to promote Italy’s food and wine excellence by highlighting the best producing companies with events, interviews, competitions and awards.

The edition of “Authors of Flavor 2024” saw the participation of many starred chefs and personalities from the world of food and entertainment.

The event was sponsored by the Campania region and saw the presence of the agriculture councilor Nicola Caputo.

In such an important event, Barbara Politi (Journalist and TV presenter Gambero Rosso) could not fail to comment on the evening, with the historic presenter of Mediaset, Emanuela Folliero, as an exceptional godmother.

Present at the event, as ambassadors of Umbria, were the entire staff of “l’Osteria del trap” in Ferentillo with Simone Camillucci chef and the entire Trotti family, Carlo, Umberto and Fjorda.

With them the emerging star, the young Valentina Trotti, who has conquered everyone with the innate naturalness with which she juggles the stove in the kitchen. Valentina already last year, despite being the youngest, ranked second in Catania in the Best Junior Chef of Italy competition.

Also from Valnerina, Gina Vannucci agrichef, owner of the organic farm “Casa Mattei” in Arrone, known for its excellent production of organic extra virgin olive oil and wine with which she cooked her proposal.

From Castel dell’Aquila the “La Botte” restaurant of Mirco and Elena, known for dishes based on game and typical cuisine.

The young chef Daniele Rubini could not be missing, who after touring Italy, Australia and Corsica decided to open a restaurant in the castle of Strettura, “LA MAGA”, offering typical Umbrian dishes.
