STATE POLICE: TERRITORY CONTROL SERVICES DISCOVERY OF Narcotic Substances

On April 23rd and 26th uu.ss. were carried out by UPGSP personnel of the Ferrara Police Headquarters, together with patrols from the Emilia Romagna Crime Prevention Department of Bologna, extraordinary territorial control services aimed at combating crimes in general in the areas of Viale Cavour and Piazzale Medaglie Oro and San Giorgio and surrounding areas and in the GAD area. In particular, during the services to combat drug dealing carried out in the area in front of the railway station and Viale IV Novembre, approximately 12 grams of narcotic substances such as hashish were found hidden inside a jacket left unattended by unknown persons. Furthermore, two people caught in a state of obvious drunkenness were administratively sanctioned.
The checks were also extended to the gardens of Viale Cavour and surrounding areas.
During the services, a total of 116 people were identified, of which 23 with police records, 22 vehicles were checked and 2 checkpoints were carried out.
The services will continue in the coming weeks.
