Adjudication procedures initiated, problems resolved and the imminent resumption of all those works that had been interrupted in some peripheral city streets. It is the result of the agreement which, reached between the Puglia Water Authority and the Municipality of Taranto, will produce undisputed benefits for the benefit of the community.
The agreement between the parties has made it possible to plan the restart of important infrastructural interventions which, consisting of the installation of new water and sewerage lines, will guarantee a significant improvement in the quality of life of the citizens of the areas concerned.
This shared result is the result of a constructive dialogue and a common commitment aimed at ensuring a fair and rapid solution that will allow the completion of works necessary for the redevelopment of urban areas which mainly exist between Lama, San Vito and Talsano.
Thanks to the activities of the Melucci Administration, which has started a process of acquiring numerous roads within its scope from the civic body’s assets, the interventions will now be able to proceed quickly towards their completion after they had been suspended due to complex bureaucratic issues .
In fact, the acquisition activity currently being defined will make it possible to ascertain the ownership of the arteries affected by the works, facilitating all those procedures that will be able to give the green light to the infrastructural works necessary to ensure primary services for citizens. Highlighted that the interventions have the objective of providing the population with more efficient access to water and an adequate sewerage network, essential elements for public health and welfare, it must be said that the agreement reached is also an example of transparency and collaboration between public bodies, who worked together to overcome obstacles and achieve a common goal.
