At school we also talk about safety at work

The “Don Milani” Higher Education Institute of Montichiari has decided to set up the “IO ERO – Memories of broken lives” exhibition inside the school. Created by Cisl Brescia, the exhibition is a powerful means of reflection and awareness of safety issues in all workplaces.

The decision of the Monteclarense school is part of a didactic sensitivity that has already addressed the dynamics of the problem in the past by emphasizing the importance of prevention, translated into a short film made by students with the title “The angel of safety”.

The exhibition will remain in the school from 6 to 10 May. On the morning of the first day the head teacher Claudia Covri will present the initiative and two workers who were victims of accidents at work will briefly talk about their experience; a moment of dialogue and a visit to the exhibition will follow.

The mayor of Montichiari will also be present Marco Togni and the provincial councilor with responsibility for Education Philip Ferrarito underline the importance of school involvement in raising awareness of workplace safety problems.

The one in Montichiari is the first stage of a journey that will bring the exhibition to other schools in the city and province in the next school year.
