Aiello, Arctic and Toscano, it’s time to plan the B

President John Aiello, his older brother Michael and the entire American management group reached Cesena in the early afternoon yesterday and today will attend the finishing touches scheduled at Dino Manuzzi, where the owners will say goodbye to the technical staff and team. Speaking of staff, there is great anticipation for the summit between Aiello himself, ARCTIC and Toscano to discuss the future of the Calabrian coach. The promotion to Serie B triggered the extension of the contract to 2025 for Toscano, whose desire to stay in Romagna and start again for the third consecutive season on the Cesena bench goes well beyond the existing contractual obligation. Toscano intends to continue cultivating the project on the upper floor too, possibly without the impasse of last summer, when things dragged on a little too long after the mocking elimination from the play-offs and went on for a long time (also due to the corporate turbulence linked to the presence of Robert Lewis) and there was a risk of separation before the decisive phone call from ARCTIC. The ball now passes to the owners, who must try to exploit the great advantage of having won the championship on March 30 to plan the next Serie B.

Towards Cesena-Perugia

Today in the final we will understand the conditions of Prestia and Shpendi, in doubt for tomorrow evening’s leave against Perugia, in an evening that will not last just 90 minutes. At the end of the match, in fact, the president of Lega Pro Matteo Marani will hand over the cup reserved for the winning team of Group B to captain De Rose, after all his teammates and technical staff will parade in the center of the pitch. In the interval, however, the catwalk will be the turn of Nicola Campedelli’s Cesena Primavera, who just a week ago celebrated their promotion to Villa Silvia.

As of last night, 4,012 tickets had been sold for Cesena-Perugia (just 86 guests). Considering the 6,535 season ticket holders, with another day of pre-sale available, 10,547 spectators have already booked.
