President John Aiello, his older brother Michael and the entire American management group reached Cesena in the early afternoon yesterday and today will attend the finishing touches scheduled at Dino Manuzzi, where the owners will say goodbye to the technical staff and team. Speaking of staff, there is great anticipation for the summit between Aiello himself, ARCTIC and Toscano to discuss the future of the Calabrian coach. The promotion to Serie B triggered the extension of the contract to 2025 for Toscano, whose desire to stay in Romagna and start again for the third consecutive season on the Cesena bench goes well beyond the existing contractual obligation. Toscano intends to continue cultivating the project on the upper floor too, possibly without the impasse of last summer, when things dragged on a little too long after the mocking elimination from the play-offs and went on for a long time (also due to the corporate turbulence linked to the presence of Robert Lewis) and there was a risk of separation before the decisive phone call from ARCTIC.
