The removal of the roundabout for Montegrosso has been postponed to May 7th. Meanwhile, Pietro Zito and others appeal to the TAR – AndriaLive.it

First, a small victory for the inhabitants and businesses of Montegrosso: today, in fact, with a registered letter via certified e-mail, Giuseppe D’Oria, as group leader of the ATI D’Oria – Debar – Pagone, responsible for proceeding with the removal of the roundabout on the SP2 Andria-Canosa for access to the Borgo, in light of the declarations made in recent days in the press and television, which warn of sensational actions to prevent the removal, announced to the Prefect Riflesso and to all the institutional bodies involved that it deems it appropriate, at the in order to avoid disorder and/or even more serious situations, to accept the invitation to postpone the removal operations of the roundabout to a date after the meeting of May 7th.

On the issue we also register an appeal to the TAR, conducted by Pietro Zito and other citizens residing and/or owners of real estate properties located in Montegrosso, both administrators of productive and/or commercial companies active in the respective product sectors and operating in the same territory, in which the Court is asked to order the collection of the file relating to the appeal registered against the removal order in question, setting the date of the hearing as promptly as possible.

In short, tempers are heating up in anticipation of a feared and ever closer date, which the entire Montegrosso community fears. The lawyer Michele Piazzolla, representative of Zito and others, also sent a warning to the Bat Province and to the D’Oria company in which he explains once again that «everyone knows that the removal of the roundabout, without having first identified a technical and operational solution that guarantees easy access to the village and the surrounding territories, will cause very serious damage to the citizens of the village and to the companies operating there, in response to which the need for testing of the work by the commissioning Province and the executing ATI of the works appears to be secondary evidence”.

It is feared in the warning that «in addition to compensation for damages, there are hypotheses of crimes against all those who, in various capacities, will contribute to the threatened closure of all direct access to the provincial road axis now existing, without also taking into account the primary needs of those who live and work in Montegrosso”.
