enter and look around to grasp the hidden secret behind the classic works, furniture, design, unique ancient pieces, but above all in the generosity and love for art that Villa Meuccia, now a house-museum, will give to the public . A fascinating place on Colle Ardizio where time seems to stop and tell the story, not only of the house-museum, but especially to retrace the will and care towards art with which Meuccia Severi, creator and founder, decided to make everything city of Pesaro.

“This is a path that after having seen this place become the headquarters of the “Meuccia Severi” foundation, with the pride and will of the founder who left everything to the city, now the villa can also be called a house-museum open to the public. It will be open with guided tours for anyone who wants to visit the works and furnishings of the rooms inside the structure but also the beautiful park which houses unique sculptural pieces. It will be possible to listen to the history of the Villa and its creator as well as admire the paintings, furnishings and sculptures of the prestigious collection” explains Carlo Grossi, president of the “Meuccia Severi” foundation. An opportunity that will not drop us in front of a usual palace or museum but inside a real private residence with attention to detail that has already achieved a fame that has crossed the limit.

“This villa was opened several times for the FAI days and the demand was truly very high, exceeding what we had expected, there were people queuing outside the gate in fact we then organized extra openings – says Fiammetta Malpassi, head of the FAI Pesaro delegation and Urbino -. The attention and curiosity towards this place surprised us as did the fact that many delegations from all over Italy will come to Pesaro this year to learn about the proposals for Pesaro 2024 but explicitly ask us to open Villa Meuccia, the fame of this place has reached many unexpected places.” The free guided tours will be organized twice a month in the morning and will start from Sunday 5 May. They will continue every first Sunday of the month, managed by the foundation and on the third Sunday of the month in collaboration with Fai. The route will last an hour, you can participate by reservation with a maximum of 15-20 people in turn. [email protected], [email protected].
