New trend reversal for the weather. After the cooler temperatures of recent weeks, the comeback of the anticyclone that will arrive from Africa is expected. But it didn’t end here. Yes, because if the end of April could be dominated by a rise in temperatures, the sudden return of bad weather is lurking. In short, a new roller coaster ride as regards temperatures which, even in the province of Arezzo, would be destined to undergo significant changes.
Weekend with the anticyclone
As the 3bmeteo experts remind us, the African anticyclone will return to the country over the weekend: “Temperatures will already increase at the end of the week and will gain further degrees until Tuesday, especially in the Centre-South and the North-East, with values that will go a few degrees above the averages for the period, in particular in the Tyrrhenian regions”. Despite the effects of the hot air, even between Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April, there will be signs of instability in some areas: the rains will affect the North-West and Sardinia more frequently, with less intense phenomena in the North-East and the Centre. On Sunday the weather will be unstable almost throughout the peninsula, while temperatures will rise to reach 24-25 degrees.
What will the weather be like in Arezzo?
As reported by Arezzo Weatherthe Arezzo weekend will be characterized by some clouds and variable skies.
The forecast detail. Friday: cloudy in the morning but probably without significant precipitation. Variable and a little unstable in the afternoon with the possibility of some scattered showers especially in the more internal areas and close to the mountains. Temperatures without major variations, still a little cool for the period with highs around 14-15 degrees. Saturday: cloudy or partly cloudy but with low risk of precipitation. Veiled in the evening. Temperatures increasing, on average with the period (values, maximum 17-18 degrees in the plains).
But although temperatures have dropped in recent weeks compared to the peaks reached in March, according to experts, Italy is still dominated on geothermal maps by the red color which indicates temperatures above the seasonal average. A detail of no small importance which explains in a simple way how out of the ordinary the temperatures recorded up to now have been. Ultimately therefore, in a handful of days, the people of Arezzo will go from snowfall at high altitude to a progressive arrival of African heat.
What is Final Warming
This sudden weather change comes at a particular time of the year. In fact, at the end of April the Final Warming occurs, i.e. the last seasonal stratospheric warming, a natural spring phenomenon that marks the transition from the winter to the summer season in the stratosphere. Usually the phenomenon occurs after April 12, a date identified by experts as the watershed between late and early events.
