The first day of the 72nd edition of the Trento Film Festival, Mountains and Cultures is underway. In a rich program dedicated to the mountains, with over 130 scheduled events and 120 selected films, the start is marked by 3 exhibitions, inaugurated at the same time: the photographic exhibition “Ethereal Reflections” by Alexander La Gumina, the video installation “Emotions: (thirst for) a primary need” by Leonardo Fabbri and finally the exhibition “The Ice Builders” curated by Andrea Zatta, Fabio Saitto and Francesco Clerici. At the MontagnaLibri literary salon with Krzysztof Wielicki, conqueror of the first winter repeat of Everest, the presentation of his new book “In solitaire. My climb”, in dialogue with Alessandro Filippini and Luca Calvi. There is also time for a break at Palazzo Roccabruna, with a tasting of Trentino Grappa organized by the Istituto Tutela Grappa del Trentino and the Provincial Enoteca of Trentino. A first look also at the column “An hour to acclimatise”, with a dialogue to outline the profile of the Nuovi montanari, with Luigi Dall’Armellina, Erica Balduzzi, Andrea Membretti and Luca Stefenelli. Finally, the opening evening, with Beppe Severgnini and the actress Marta Rizi on stage with “A slippery story”, a show that takes us back in time, to the 1960s, to tell how our relationship with the mountains has changed in winter since then.
