The Municipality plans nine hires – Teramo

GIULIANOVA. The municipal council has given the green light to the institution’s new integrated activity and organization plan (Piao), which covers the three-year period 2024-2026. The plan includes several new features, including the hiring of 9 new figures. The budget councilor explains Ciliberti rescued: «This is a necessary act linked to the annual hiring planning and not a political choice». The inclusion of new staff is made possible by the virtuous financial management of the Municipality of Giulianova. In fact, as stated in the document, the institution falls within the range of virtuous institutions, with an incidence of personnel expenses on current expenses equal to 17.34%, lower than the threshold of 29.50%. This allows the Municipality to increase spending on permanent hiring by 21%. For the year 2024, the maximum ceiling for personnel is set at 5,228,576.59 euros. The objective is to strengthen the strategic areas of the organization with particular attention to category D, that of managerial functions. Furthermore, the valorisation of staff already in service is envisaged through vertical progression and the possibility of hiring staff with fixed-term apprenticeship, training and work contracts, with selective procedures announced on a territorial basis. Among the new hires there will also be space for people with disabilities of working age and the unemployed. Currently the Municipality of Giulianova has 84 employees, of which 40 women and 44 men.
