The evaluation commission has been established within the cultural table for the Patron Saint of the City and the Diocese of Carpi
The announcement establishing the “Mamma Nina Award” has been published, in memory of the Venerable Marianna Saltini, to give due recognition to experiences of excellence in the field of charity and the promotion of the common good through solidarity projects in support of a fraternal and intercultural society . There will be time until May 9th to submit applications which may concern voluntary organizations (ODV), foundations and associations for social promotion (APS), cooperatives for social promotion, associative networks and third sector bodies (ETS) regularly registered with RUNTS . The activities must be aimed at integration paths to overcome the fragilities dictated by social loneliness, economic and cultural marginalization, barriers raised by prejudices of race and origin; to inclusion, both cultural, social and educational, and to the creation of pathways to support economic and housing independence. Bodies already awarded the prize in previous editions are excluded.
For this first edition, the Award will have an above all symbolic value with a parchment and a monetary award. The commission called to evaluate the proposals was set up internally at the Patron Cultural Table of the City and Diocese of Carpi with other members representing the territory: Matteo Casalgrandi, president of the Cultural Table and president of the commission; Sister Maria Bottura, director of the diocesan Caritas; Don Fabio Barbieri, parish priest of Mirandola; Annalena Ragazzoni, member designated by Agape; Khadija Nour, member of the Integration Council, member designated by the Municipality; Guia Tumiati, member of the cultural table and secretary of the commission. The announcement of the winner of the Prize will take place at the end of the Pontifical on May 20th, in the Cathedral, and the prize will be awarded at a special public moment.
