Unipax, the World Union for Peace and the Fundamental Rights of Man and Peoples, is a voluntary NGO, non-partisan, non-denominational and unrelated to economic or partisan interests, which operates at a national and international level. It has been associated with the UN/DGC United Nations Department of Global Communications for over 20 years (www.unipax.org – www.unitedpeacers.it).
He will participate in the Sunday parade at the 95th National Gathering in Vicenza with the banner “United Peacers, the World Community for a New Humanism” (World Common Home of Peace Workers): this will also be the opportunity to start free and free, thus also inviting members of the foreign sections of the ANA to participate.
Unipax, with the patronage of the International University of Peace https://www.unipaceroma.org, will award the black feathers of the ANA the title of “Operator of civil coexistence and Peace” motivated by: “The concrete, extraordinary ability of the Alpini to carry out countless cultural, solidarity, mutual assistance and intervention initiatives in the territory by individual Sections and Groups, together with the operation of the Civil Protection structures in Italy and abroad: they represent a great example of how civil coexistence and peace can be built starting from the bottom, from solidarity volunteering, from the fight against suffering and every form of violence.”
The recognition will take the form of the presentation of a plaque of honor by the president of the University, prof. eng. Gianni Cara and the President of Unipax prof. Orazio Parisotto, which will take place at the end of September, in Loreto, on the occasion of the Alpine Family Pilgrimage to the Family House as part of the gathering of the 4th ANA Group.
The collaboration will continue in the coming months also through the making available to the ANA Groups of the guide for Peace Workers, also known as “The Book of Hope” entitled “The Global Peaceful Revolution for a New Humanism”.
