April 29thon the occasion of “World Dance Day”established to celebrate dance as a universal art form and promote its cultural diversity, inspired by thecouncilor for Sport and culture, Federica Poggiothe Administration of Fiumicino will offer students of dance schools throughout the municipal area the possibility of participate for free in a masterclass held by nationally renowned teachers. The event will take place at Salsedine Expo in via della Scafa 146. Starting from 3pm to 7pm There will be classical, modern and hip hop dance workshops dedicated to both beginners and intermediate/advanced level students.
“Initiatives like this – declares the councilor for Sport and Culture, Federica Poggio – are created to raise public awareness of dance as a form of artistic expression and a means of social communication. An inclusive tool, dance, which involves people of all ages and stimulates the psychophysical well-being of adults and children. This is why we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to participate in such a prestigious masterclass on a day dedicated not only to dance lovers but also to anyone who wants to live this experience for the first time.”
