On April 20, 2024, at 9.00 pm at the Ambra Theater in Alessandria, the theatrical performance Room 44 was held, written by Luca Bondino, directed by Marco Rezia and with the participation of Luca Bondino, Marco Ferrari and Giorgia De Vito. Room 44 is set in a suburban motel room, a few kilometers away from the house of an ordinary man.
It is the story of three people united together by an ambiguous plot. Roberto, Filippo and Gloria, in the whirlwind of what is silent and what is revealed before their eyes, try to reconstruct three relationships that leave room for multiple interpretations. The narrative is not linear, so much so that the viewer must try to reconstruct, one piece at a time, the pieces of the puzzle that make up this story.
On the one hand there are them, Gloria and Filippo, united in life, together forever and sure of being able to count on each other. On the other, Roberto, a mysterious man, an unrepentant storyteller, unscrupulous and with an unstable temperament. Between irony and misunderstandings, it will be the latter who plots the plot of what seems to be the script of three lives, where the truth is the opposite of what is told, dialogue after dialogue. The work is of the dramedy genre, where comic elements mix perfectly with the drama of the characters. It is a story that talks about psychological manipulation, abuse and deprivation of freedom of thought and action, carried out by a sadistic perverse narcissist (Roberto) capable of upsetting the lives of two people (Gloria and Filippo), unaware of what is happening actually happening. It is an introspective journey into the multiple personalities of an individual who fights against himself to rein in the impulses of a wicked life, made up of romantic forays and unthinkable adventures, so strong that they lead him to live parallel existences that are projected into the lives of others. The spectators particularly enjoyed this representation but, at the same time, were pushed to think about how it is possible to fall into the trap of skilled manipulators.

The proceeds of the evening, paid into the current account of In Bocca al Lupo odv on 04.21.2024, amounted to 1,250.00 euros and will be specifically accounted for with a report that will be deposited on the RUNTS platform (Single National Register of the Third Sector) to which this Association has been registered since the establishment of the register.
The sums collected will be used for the ordinary activities that this organization carries out for students, teachers, families and ordinary people, in the numerous ongoing projects. In particular, they will be used for actions to combat the use and abuse of drugs, alcohol and other addictions.
