SECOND APPOINTMENT WITH THE CONCERT SEASON OF THE GRAVINA MUSICAL HIGH SCHOOL
SPECIAL GUEST M° Salvatore Lombardi, pianist M° Raffaele Maisano
We receive and publish – “…the man who gives voice to the flute in Italy…” is how national and international critics describe him.
Salvatore Lombardi is a multifaceted artist who combines his concert career with that of teacher and artistic director of flute initiatives at an international level: he is, in fact, holder of the flute chair at the “Giuseppe Martucci” State Conservatory of Music in Salerno, president of the Italian Flautists Association, creator and founder of the magazine “Falaut”, considered by international critics to be among the most complete and interesting to appear on the world scene in recent years.
Lombardi represents a point of reference for Italian flautists, especially young ones, since through his prestigious initiatives he provides them with unrepeatable opportunities for training and growth.
And it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our high school to have him as a special guest in the GAM concert season.
This is why, we students, are honored to invite all citizens to participate on Monday afternoon in the Maestro’s Recital accompanied on the piano by M° Raffaele Maisano and obviously, as per tradition, there will also be an open concert by the little SMIM flutists Alfieri and Cutuli and a sweet coffee at the end of the concert.
