It would be precisely for this “precedent” highlighted by the “duty” employees that the Polaria agents would also have heard the testimonies of other store employees who were not present on April 15th

From hypotheses to testimonies. New elements are added to the accusation of theft that hit the Democratic Party deputy Piero Fassino: the parliamentarian would have been recognized as the perpetrator of another theft in Terminal 1 duty free at Fiumicino airport, the main Roman airport, where he was reported last April 15 after being stopped with an unpaid bottle of Chanel perfume in his pocket. On the first occasion however, according to what we learn from investigative sources, the dem deputy had not been stopped.

For this “previous” – highlighted by the employees of the shop – the agents of Polaria, the airport police, would also have heard the testimonies of other employees of the shop who were not present on April 15th. The investigators also have video footage from the duty free surveillance cameras in their hands from which it would emerge – according to what transpires – that Fassino had actually attempted to steal the perfume and that the parliamentarian did not have his cell phone in his hand as he later told the media, attributing the gesture of putting the package in his pocket to the distraction of a phone call.

Polaria is in fact investigating the Fassino case and on Monday all the duty free employees will be interviewed to reconstruct the previous shoplifting which occurred in the same areas of the airport. This will be followed by the sending of the first information to the Civitavecchia Prosecutor’s Office.
