Wednesday 8 Mayto the Municipal Theatre Of Catanzaro, And Thursday 9 May, to the Grandinetti Municipal Theatre Of Lamezia Termewill be on stage “The Jekyll Affair”a show starring two excellent actors such as Sergio Rubini And Daniele Russo.

“The Jekyll Affair”based on the famous work by Robert Louis Stevenson, is a profound and magnetic story, capable of making us reflect on the double being that resides in each of us. Another great theater proposal made by LOVE Calabria which always pays close attention to the most famous works, to bring them to our region through the faces of artists known and appreciated for their renowned talent.
The flavor of mystery in a foggy, nineteenth-century London will be to be enjoyed thanks to the careful and sagacious direction of Sergio Rubini that, with the actor Daniele Russowill enrich the scene thanks to the company composed of Geno Diana, Roberto Salemi, Angelo Zampieri And Alessia Santalucia.
“The Jekyll Affair” contains a careful work of theatrical adaptation which aims to open our eyes to the great relevance of the story. “This is clearly the story we started with – explains Sergio Rubini in his director’s notes –is in fact only an inspiration for a story closer to the themes of our contemporaneity which offers the spectator the possibility not only of reflecting himself in the dangers but also the pleasures that arise from his own shadow, but also of being a starting point of reflection on the need to dialogue with one’s unconscious, bring it out and share it with the community despite society’s tendency to repress everything”.
